What you Need to Know: 2. Your Gardenshed® building will arrive at your property fully assembled and finished ready for use immediately after installation.
3. If you are concerned about access to your property please call us first to discuss. There are many options for delivery access that we’d be happy to review with you. While we recognize that each property is different and unique, it is a rare property where required installation access is impossible. 4. If feasibility of delivery is a concern we encourage property owners to send us a property survey and pictures of the site so that we can better evaluate the scope of delivery. After 14 years and over 1,000 building deliveries we can offer you an honest opinion about delivery and installation.
5. In considering access to your foundation, we encourage you to think about access through an adjoining property if this will facilitate delivery and installation. In our experience neighbors are often more than willing to cooperate.
6. At minimum we will need a clear path to the foundation pad that is equal to the building width plus 1’. If your building measures 10’ wide, we will require an 11’ wide clearance. The building will be approximately 13’ in height on the trailer so you will want to make sure there are no low tree limbs or wires that might be an obstacle. Cupolas are installed after the building has been off-loaded and positioned on the foundation pad.

7. It is the responsibility of the property owner to tempoarily remove and replace fence sections, landscaping, etc. that might interfere with delivery prior to our arrival. 8. Our delivery service will use their best care not to damage landscape and plantings, but can not be held liable and responsible for damage that may occur. It is the responsiblity of the property owner to inform Gardensheds® in a prompt and timely manner of any ground conditions that might delay delivery.
9. Our delivery service will position and place the building directly on your foundation pad. The building will arrive on either a 18’ or 32’ flat bed trailer that is pulled by a heavy-duty 4-wheel drive truck. Ideally the trailer can back directly to the foundation pad to off-load. 10. If our delivery truck can not back directly up to the foundation pad due to terrain conditions or space limitations, we do have a smaller “BOB” machine on to which the building can be transferred and moved to the foundation pad. There is greater maneuverability with the BOB machine and it is best used when there are significant grade changes or if there is not sufficient clearance for a truck with a trailer.
11. Occasionally, when conditions warrant it, a crane service is the best option to install a building. In such an instance it is the responsibility of the property owner to arrange for a local crane service in advance to coordinate with our arrival. 12. We allow one hour off-load and install in our delivery estimate. Additional time is invoiced at $55/hour. 13. Prior to leaving, we will make sure that everything is in proper working order and that all items that require post-delivery installation have been installed.
